The VRAKazine is the extension of the critical workshop conducted by Olivier Hespel, critic and playwriter. It will serve to cover the VRAK Festival 2012 in its entirety. The workshop was aimed at future critics/mediators/performing-arts communicators and was designed to sharpen participants’ focus and to perfect their oral/written skills when reviewing new and future generations of artists in this sector.

In practice?

Participants were invited to attend a number of events at which L’L residents present their end-of-residency projects and to meet the protagonists afterwards.  

Next, they were asked to write their own personal review and present it to the group as a whole for commentary/critical appraisal.

Participants will then be given an opportunity to correct their work under the guidance of the workshop host before their reviews will be published on the VRAKazine.
